Hi, I am Anastacia

Diving deep into embodiment/ somatics and Yoga therapy (gentle practices of Yoga and mindful Movement) —taught me how to feel my way through chronic pain, and embracing nervous system dysregulation and past trauma. 

Before, I’d fight my body. Ignore the flare-ups. Power through the panic. But now I see those signals differently: they’re messages, not enemies. They’re reminders that my nervous system is just doing its best to keep me safe, even if it means some days I’m dealing with muscle tension, that all-too-familiar tightness in my chest, or the buzzing restlessness in my limbs.

Somatics has taught me how to listen. To sit with discomfort without needing to change it. To move gently and with intention, letting my body feel whatever it needs to feel without shame. Some days that means slow stretching, other days it’s a walk, and sometimes it’s just deep breaths in a quiet corner.

Healing isn’t linear—some days it’s two steps forward, one step back.   • ❝ Anastacia's classes are slow and deep, yet you can feel the vibrant energy she creates in the studio. She goes through a thorough warm-up sequence which helps the body open up and be ready for the following asanas. Typically she also focuses a lot on core strength which gives you that work out that it is always a nice bonus. She is gentle-mannered and very delicate when it comes to adjusting a pose. She finishes off with some breathing and meditation at the end of the class, to consolidate the sense of wellbeing created, whilst moving in the flow. I really enjoy attending Anastacia's classes and would recommend to anyone, but with a special recommendation for beginners, because of her clear explanations and her gentle encouraging approach through the practice ❞
